How to Measure Your Door Correctly

Getting the right fit is easy:

Measure the width at the top, middle, and bottom of your door frame, and record the smallest measurement.
Measure the height on both sides of the door. Again, record the smaller of the two.
Double-check your numbers.

Your frame must have at least 35mm of unobstructed depth to reach the mounting holes on the cassette.

Installation Made Easy

If you’re handy with a drill and a measuring tape, our retractable screens are DIY-friendly. All you’ll need are basic tools like a screwdriver, drill, and level. Prefer to leave it to the experts? We also offer professional installation services.

Caring for Your Retractable Door Screen

To keep your retractable fly screen door gliding like new, give it a gentle clean every few months. Use a soft brush or vacuum to remove dust and debris from the mesh and tracks. Avoid harsh chemicals; mild soap and water will do.

What is the required depth for ezy screens?

The minimum depth required for an ezy screen to be installed is 35mm.

What is ezy screens warranty?

We offer a 3 year warranty on all parts. On screens that have been installed by one of our technicians we offer a 12 month warranty on labour.

Do you offer installation services for all Ezy Screens products?

Yes, we offer professional installation services for all of our retractable fly screens in South East Queensland (SEQ). Every installation is backed by a one-year labor warranty, ensuring peace of mind with your purchase.

Can retractable screens be installed on tiny homes or caravans?

Absolutely! As long as there is a minimum depth of 35mm available for installation, our retractable screens can be fitted to tiny homes, caravans, and other compact spaces.

Really nice retractable screen, easy to cut to size and install. Very good and informative videos on the website too, definitely helps a lot. I would love to see some metal mounting plates on both ends of the cassette in the future (instead of the plastic ones), other than that I would not hesitate to purchase it again. Thank you!

Very good flyscreen. I used mine on a sliding door. Perfect cut size. Easy install. 5 stars but with some caveats: I have yet to figure out how to adjust the retraction speed. The video shows adding a soft opener, but its either not supplied or already installed. If its already installed, the video needs updating to save unscrewing to find out and wasting that time. Then, it doesn't work anyway. If I have to dismantle the whole install to adjust.. ewww. The magnetic strip does not hold the screen closed in a slight wind which makes the whole screen useless. I imagine I need to back off the tension somehow (how?) because the magnetic strip bulges between screws and thus does not use the whole magnetic strip surface. One day I'll understand these 2 issues as once installed the motivation to unscrew again is limited.

Had a wonderful experience all the way through from initial contact to installation. Communication was clear, pricing was good and installation was swift.
