How to Measure Your Door Correctly

Getting the right fit is easy:

Measure the width at the top, middle, and bottom of your door frame, and record the smallest measurement.
Measure the height on both sides of the door. Again, record the smaller of the two.
Double-check your numbers.

Your frame must have at least 35mm of unobstructed depth to reach the mounting holes on the cassette.

What is the required depth for ezy screens?

The minimum depth required for an ezy screen to be installed is 35mm.

What is ezy screens warranty?

We offer a 3 year warranty on all parts. On screens that have been installed by one of our technicians we offer a 12 month warranty on labour.

Do you offer installation services for all Ezy Screens products?

Yes, we offer professional installation services for all of our retractable fly screens in South East Queensland (SEQ). Every installation is backed by a one-year labor warranty, ensuring peace of mind with your purchase.

Can retractable screens be installed on tiny homes or caravans?

Absolutely! As long as there is a minimum depth of 35mm available for installation, our retractable screens can be fitted to tiny homes, caravans, and other compact spaces.

I had a few issues fitting the fly screen to operate smoothly within the door frame. Ezyscreen were VERY proactive and have helped resolving the issue, also offered to replace the product or even worse case refund it. All working fine now. I would recommend to take the measure of your door in 3 place, not just 2 on each end as per the instructions. Measuring the height in the middle of the door might be critical, as if there is any sagging, more likely to occur there.
